KOMSOMOLSKAYA
The Komsomolskaya station opened in 1952 and it is placed on the circular brown line Koltsevaya. It is undoubtedly the most richly adorned station in Baroque style, with a spectacular yellow-painted ceiling with floral mosaics and bas-reliefs. The side columns are naturally white marble, with Ionic capitals. Noteworthy also are the enormous candlesticks that provide illumination.
